Communicating and marketing an organization’s health and wellness program to employees and health plan members is an ongoing challenge. But creative use of multi-channel and multi-media messages can help to motivate and engage employees and members in an organization’s wellness and health promotion efforts.

Listen to pre-conference comments from Heath Shackleford.

During Creating a Multi-Channel, Multi-Media Wellness Communication Strategy That Motivates and Engages Employees and Health Plan Members, a 90-minute webinar on May 21, 2008, two industry experts will describe their creative communication strategies that yield results.

Heath Shackleford, senior director of marketing and communications, Healthways, and Donna Shenoha, vice president and senior consultant of health and welfare at Wachovia Corporation, will provide the inside details on the innovative strategies that their organizations use to promote their wellness programs that engage and motivate participants, including:

  • Creating tailored messages;
  • Integrating multi-channel, multi-media wellness promotion messages;
  • Leveraging existing content to promote health and wellness;
  • Addressing health literacy issues in wellness and health promotion messages; and
  • Achieving results through an integrated communication strategy.

The webinar will be held on May 21, 2008 at 1:30 pm Eastern time.
