Designing, Implementing and Analyzing Effective Healthcare Toolkits, a May 10, 2006 audio conference audio conference, looks at how healthcare organizations are developing health education toolkits that can truly impact a member's health status.

Organizing health education materials into an effective healthcare toolkit takes a multi-disciplinary approach to its design, implementation and analysis.

During this 90-minute audio conference on CD-ROM, your expert panel of speakers, Jon Beaty, corporate quality improvement manager at Pacificare Behavioral Health and Carolyn Wiener, project leader, health policy and social mission with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, provide inside details on how their organizations develop toolkits and the impact these toolkits have on the health status of their population.

You will get details on:

  • Developing topics for toolkits;
  • Conducting a gap analysis to identify needs and resources;
  • Harnessing in-house knowledge, content and expertise;
  • The build or buy decision;
  • Selecting an effective medium for your audience; and
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of toolkits.

You can "attend" this program right in your office and enjoy significant savings – no travel time or hassle; no hotel expenses. It’s so convenient! Invite your staff members to listen in.

In addition, Wiener has also worked on issues related to access to healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured.
