 Description
Emerging Technologies in Disease Management: Improving Quality, Controlling Costs, a January 28th audio conference on CD-ROM, provides an overview on how technology plays an important role in disease management.

Using technology in the management of chronic diseases can lead to improved outcomes and better data collection. By driving consumers to adopt technology in managing their chronic conditions, healthcare organizations can reduce costs.

There are multiple value propositions for DM technologies including reducing costs, automating workflow, moving beyond the top 1-3% of highest cost/risk patients and improving quality.

Our speakers: Vince Kuraitis, JD, MBA, Principal Better Health Technologies, and Frank Martin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, I-trax Health Management Solutions Inc.

You'll get details on:

  • key trends in DM and technology
  • how technology is improving DM initiatives
  • driving adoption of technologies by consumers
  • measuring results
  • improving patient compliance with technology
  • and the top 5 emerging technologies for disease management
  • and much more!

The audio-conference on CD-ROM also includes a Q&A session that allows you to hear the issues that healthcare organizations are tackling today.

Your CD-ROM also includes conference materials and handouts from our speakers.

Who will benefit from this audio-conference?

CEOs, medical directors, health plan executives, care management nurses, business development and strategic planning directors.

His consulting and work projects span 100+ different health care organizations, including hospitals, physician groups, medical devices, pharma, health plans, disease management, e-Health, IT, and others.

Since 1997 Vince has worked as founder and Principal of Better Health Technologies, LLC (www.bhtinfo.com), a strategy and business development consulting company. (PDS). Mr. Martin sold PDS to Allscripts, Inc. in December 1996, and joined its Board of Directors where he remained until 1998. Mr. Martin was CEO of EduNeering, Inc., a Nantucket portfolio and educational technology company serving the pharmaceutical and managed care industries, from April 1999 to April 2000, at which point he sold the company.
