 Description
Health plans are providing members increasingly with the ability to manage their healthcare and their health benefits online with such abilities as claim status, benefits review, deductible information, account balances, changing address or PCP and requesting a new ID card. Some plans are even distributing provider quality information, health assessments and healthy lifestyle programs and workshops.

During "Moving from High-Tech to High-Touch: How Health Plans Are Providing Robust Personalized Web-Based Services," an audio conference on CD-ROM, you learn about the self-service applications at Blue Cross of Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the impact these initiatives have had.

Your expert panel of speakers, Edward Esposito, Vice President of IT Systems Delivery, at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Joseph Fraser, Client Delivery Executive for Americas at EDS, provide in-depth details on how the "Blue Links" web based self service application at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts has helped increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs.

BlueLinks is a state-of-the art Web-based solution developed by EDS, a provider in healthcare information technology solutions, that allows BCBSMA business customers to manage and update their BCBSMA health insurance over the Internet in real-time - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The BlueLinks application provides BCBSMA customers, particularly small and medium-sized businesses, with more options to manage their healthcare accounts in a secure, user-friendly Internet-based environment. This tool allows BCBSMA accounts to maintain business in an automated, integrated fashion. Accounts can manage their plans, enroll new participants, and inquire on and update employee eligibility, all in real-time.

You can "attend" this program right in your office and enjoy significant savings – no travel time or hassle; no hotel expenses. It’s so convenient! Invite your staff members to listen in.

WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS AUDIO CONFERENCE?
