Master the skills of physician management. Completely updated and expanded, The Efficient Physician: 7 Guiding Principles for a Tech-Savvy Practice, 2nd edition is the essential resource for medical groups coping with the arrival of electronic health records. Written in an easy-to-read conversational style, it includes Delio’s newest guiding principle: real-time work.
In addition to a refresher on the time-tested Practice Management Guiding Principles, you’ll learn:
- How to revamp operational systems or set up a new practice with systems to balance patient satisfaction, physician and staff morale, and practice financial success
- That time can work for you instead of against you, and that it’s possible to achieve balance
- The importance of working in real time – which means doing today’s work today
- How to use the many sample forms for systems analysis and day-to-day operations, such as rooming patients, patient visits and scheduling.
Based on the author’s experiences as an industry leader and group practice executive, this book offers you tools to help physicians better manage their time and the challenge of electronic health records.
